Year 7 Lakeside Residential

Year 7 are in the Lakes this week on their first Manchester High School for Girls' residential trip. Read more about their adventures...

Day 1: Group 5 go rock climbing. Anoushka has to hold two tennis balls at the same time so that she uses her feet more whilst Alexa is blindfolded!

On Friday we travelled to Paris by bus.  In the morning we went on a one hour boat trip along the River Seine with a commentary in three languages.

AT the marine centre

On Thursday afternoon we went to the marine centre to see sharks, jelly fish and all sorts!

Year 7 French Trip

Bonjour!  Nous sommes arrivées en France!

After a long bus journey and short ferry crossing from Dover to Calais, we arrived at our hotel in Lille on Wednesday evening.

Aujourd'hui c'est jeudi et nous allons à la boulangerie

On Thursday morning we arrived at a local boulangerie where the owner taught us all how to make bread. We then each received a fresh pain au chocolat - miam! miam!
